Control which features are active across the app. Changes take effect after a page reload.

If AI-heavy pages are unusually slow or unresponsive, turning this off removes a known source of extra processing — but tutors and admins should still avoid typing student names into free-text fields while it's off, since redaction is the main safeguard against that.

Student names are never sent to the AI provider, regardless of settings. Other free-text content (session notes, reflections, admin notes) is also checked for names, but only when your centre's admin has turned on Name Redaction — ask your admin if you're unsure whether it's active.
